Course IP6105
IPv6 Networking with Cisco Routers
Course Overview
IPv6 Networking with Cisco Routers
Duration: 5 Days
Intended Audience
The course is aimed at network engineers and administrators and designers who will be working primarily with Cisco routers. Attendees are expected to have a basic knowledge of networks, IPv4 and routing, and to be familiar with the Cisco IOS operating system.
Course Overview
- Foundations of IPv6
- IPv6 routing and tunneling
- ISATAP, NAT-PT and 6to4
- Cisco ACLs and IPv6
- Configuring IPv6 support services on Cisco routers
- Design and configuration of OSPFv3 and IS-IS networks
- Design and configuration of BGP4+ networks
- Overview of Mobile IPv6 and M-BGP
The course is an instructor led course with extensive hands on laboratories. Approximately 30% of the course time will be devoted to hands on laboratories.
Course Benefits
The course provides a sound introduction to IPv6 and how to configure router interfaces for IPv6, to configure and troubleshoot IPv6 routing protocols and to configure Cisco routers to implement mixed IPv6 / IPv4 networks.
