MySQL Programming and Database Administration Courses

MySQL is a fully featured open source relational database. It supports many of the features of large scale commercial
database management systems such as Oracle and SQLServer, including, in recent versions, an embedded programming language support for coding
triggers and stored procedures.
MySQL is widely used in many small to medium size database driven web sites - whether coded using Java, PHP, Perl , Python or some other scripting language.
MySQL (the company ) is now owned by Oracle, as a result of Oracle's purchase of Sun. MySQL is still actively supported, and it remains to be seen if Oracle will
develop and extended commercial variant of MySQL or continue to support MySQL fully, though, for the time being the future of MySQL looks reasonably stable.
